Canada is introducing a new visa program for home-based workers. Which will start by the end of 2023. Foreigners will be able to stay in Canada for 6 months. - Individuals applying for the program must submit an application, photograph and fingerprints along with proof of employment.
- An immigration officer will interview applicants and if their application is approved, the passport must be sent to the Canadian government, which will affix the visa and send it back.
- Visa holders under this program must make their own arrangements to come to Canada and stay there.
After arriving in Canada, they will be able to move anywhere and continue their work.
Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has said that those coming from abroad will be able to stay in Canada for up to 6 months.
Under this program, digital nomads will also be able to apply for a permanent work permit and stay in Canada for an additional 3 years if employed.
